I love the scene that plays in my head looking at this. A worker is in a massive industrial building lost wandering the halls until they find this lifesaving device

Worker then sinks to the floor in despair as they realize the machine has said they're in two different locations simultaneously, and neither of them are within the bounds of the map

Honest answer, I imagine it's for remembering where you parked your car. Like it stamps your little ticket with the garage floor number
