Always useful to know who to blame. Innovators of planned obsolescence probably get a lot of pats on the back inside the giant corporations but the assholes probably don’t get a shred of shame from the public.

It was once proposed that climate-related natural disasters be named after people like CEOs of oil companies. Along those lines, it would be fitting to name every e-waste landfill after an innovator or pusher of planned obsolescence. Though it wouldn’t have the exposure it diserves. Maybe we need anti-planned obsolscence laws that are named after the motherfuckers who created need for the law.
