People love saying that the Kremlin can just throw troops into the grinder, but I don't think that's true anymore. They don't have enslaved satellite states to abuse anymore like in the USSR, and there was a huge demographic problem even before the war.

Putin's mobilization was very unpopular, there's a reason they're desperately pulling people from other countries to fight in their barbaric land grab.
