The OG Memorial Day was established to honor Union troops who died in American Civil War, one of the country’s very few justified wars. Let us honor their sacrifice, especially those of black soldiers (hexbear.net)

Brigadier General August Willich and all the Germans of Ohio that volunteered alongside him were heroes and were done dirty after the war.
