The UN has not significantly lowered its estimate, they have simply acknowledged an update by the Gaza Health Ministry on the number of people killed who have been fully identified, which is of course lower than the total killed.
Also when chuds respond to the revisions like "see only 7,643 children have been killed" they aren't making a coherent argument. One child is too many. They're trying the oldest tricks in their book but they don't work anymore.
