this article mentions German Bundestag’s “Holodomor resolution”, so I looked up some news about that

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/nov/25/germany-set-to-declare-starvation-of-ukrainians-under-stalin-a-genocide-holomodor

Germany’s Bundestag is planning to pass a resolution declaring the starvation of millions of Ukrainians under Joseph Stalin a genocide, a move that parliamentarians hope will serve as a “warning” to Moscow as Ukraine faces a potential hunger crisis this winter.

hitler-detector

meanwhile they label anyone talking about the actual ongoing genocide and intentional famine in Gaza as being antisemitic

Ok how is retroactively declaring something that happened over a 100 years ago a genocide a 'warning'?

These freaks also are denying the very observable genocide in Gaza. They have no legitimacy.

Thats continuing project to equate hitler with stalin, but the article makes similar case tbh. If you disagree that they both perpetrated genocide, now nice german government can fine you til you stop. And then 20 years alter suddenly we weren't so bad compared to asiatic hordes

I've probably said this before, but German liberals are among the worst in the West.

Always have a love hate thing going on with Jacobin (I think my house is still subscribed) but this was a decent one, especially bc a I imagine a lot of us in burgerland don't know wtf is going on elsewhere.

Is The Nation any good? I'd love to have a paper subscription to something and they seem like the best bet.
