i saw the tv glow is anti woke because it ends with
spoiler
the trans main character repressing, forever trapped in the cishetnormative world of the suburbs
which is like the least woke thing that could happen
Right after the final scene there was a brief fade out before the credits hit and I was like "Damn, that would be an incredibly grim place to end this movie*
it's fucking heartbreaking!
