I wouldn't call it very reckless, Kmag assumed Perez would see him and leave space. While it was Kmag's fault there is some fault that can be placed on Perez, add in it being a 1st lap incident and Kmag missing a race and I can see how the stewards came to that decision.
K-Mag got away with this one.
Does that mean that it's been deemed an accident?
Well race control and the stewards are lenient on first lap incidents so even if they felt KMag was more to blame, he escaped without a punishment
