I was talking with a friend about the basque coast in france and he told me

They do a sport called 'longe côte' where you walk quickly along the beach with water up to you chest.

And what do you know, this morning i saw two groups of longe côteurs. A fascinating local sport.

I had a similar exercise during rehab from surgery e few years ago, walking through chest-high water but in a swimming pool. It was great for getting back on track after injury, joint-friendly (especially considering my weight) and the water temperature helped cooling down while exercising. 10/10 recommend.

Hey, yeah i can totally see that being a real good exercise that's really mild on the body.
