I mean, he's saying the system is working the way it's supposed to, kinda like cops investigating themselves and saying 'it's in our interest to exonerate ourselves so...'. Same kind of energy as Trump, vile but they own what they are.
Look I think the guillotine is awful just like you and I hate that we live in a world where it just makes so much sense to build one in every public square but you can’t fight financial self interest. As someone who isn’t a billionaire, I’m simply compelled by financial self-interest to join the mob in putting your neck inside one.
