If Russia and China were manipulating public opinion away from genocidal conquest and toward enlightened humanity would that be a bad thing?

This raises my opinion of Russia and China. And it will raise the opinion of them among several people I know, including former libs.

I know one guy, recently qualified doctor. He was a labour party -ish lib before but he's pro-Iran now and that's occurred because of Palestine.

The right are singing the old songs they've always sung but are unaware that these songs are not working as intended under the new conditions. Palestine created a new paradigm.

There have been a few organizers in my circles warning us that our cause is being hijacked by China and Russia lol

[–] Speaker@hexbear.net 15 points 1 year ago

Damn, it would be such a tragedy if your cause were backed by anyone but the State Department (the good guys). Good thing I've never been a victim of ideology like those clowns!

If I'm allowed a bit of optimism here, do you guys realize that we are actually on the side of public opinion? There is some real hope in that.

The majority of democrats were surveyed to deem the “conflict” a genocide. The problem is that the majority of democrats are also chauvinists, so they will continue supporting Biden and his party and think the “conflict” is a result of individuals and not the typical western agenda. The majority of Americans also support Israel, and even if they didn’t, don’t care about Arabs enough to demand changes

Liberals everywhere are using the Isntraeli strategy of calling everything they don't like or are responsible for ~~khamas~~ Russian Chinese trolls

It's impossible for Empire to do wrong, anyone who says we did something wrong must be being influenced by some state actor.

Analysis of some of the leading pro-Palestinian social media influencers in the UK, who have ballooned in popularity in the wake of the Oct 7 Hamas attacks on Israel, has revealed that many of their followers are fake.

This is true of literally every influencer on social media, shut the fuck up.

Russian federal budget is $350B.

  • Education: 5%
  • Healthcare: 5%
  • Social programs: 15%
  • Military: 20%
  • Literally just dumping money into influencing public opinion in Western countries: 55%

That's $180 billion in misinformation. Only a puny fraction of the $700 billion US military budget. So all we need to do is misinformation everybody's minds back the other way with our superior Anglo-American money skills. Why don't we do what they do, if it's so effective?
