The Ministry subjected the four independent newsreel companies to strict censorship. Audiences saw only what the government permitted. In 1940, the Propaganda Ministry nationalized the newsreel industry. Only state-produced newsreels were shown. These newsreels often combined strong visuals and music with heavily biased reporting.

AP and Reuters have had their reporters killed by Israel and the US and they never really cared. Granted, many (if not, all) of them were non white, so I guess it doesn’t make the news. But even the white UN workers who were blown up don’t get as much as a crocodile tear from the west
