Hello,

After my recent PC crashed, I bought a new Mac (my first). I have 4 external hard drives. Only one was set to exfat. My Mac can’t read the other 3 because they are fat32.

My question is, is there a safe way to convert from fat32 to exfat without losing any data on those hard drives using my new Mac?

Originally, I was thinking of just purchasing a new external hard drive and moving the fat32 files over to the new hard drive that’s formatted exfat. Then formatting the old drive to exfat and moving them back. (Using my PC at my work.)

But if there’s an easier way that’s safe, please let me know. Thanks in advance.
