Recently got fed up with Windows and decided to flee to the more open source world of the new Ubuntu 24.04. Overall its been great but VPN has been pretty problematic. I ended up switching from Proton to Mull because it has way better Linux support.
My LAN is on a 10.0.0.0/8 subnet and even when I turn on Local Network Sharing in the Mull options, I am not able to access other computers on my LAN when connected. I'm running the newest Linux client: 2024.3.
I contacted support because I couldn't find an easy answer to this and they were great at getting back to me with this https://mullvad.net/en/help/using-mullvad-vpn-app#localnetworksharing (which somehow I totally missed while searching for answers). This totally solves my problem connecting to my LAN but only until Mull disconnects. When it reconnects, I have to run that command again. Since it requires root, it requires me to enter my password each time. And since Mull disconnects every time the computer goes to sleep, I'm now running that command and typing my password a lot.
So my question is: is there anyway for me to add that route permanently or to automatically run the command after I connect?
Thanks in advance!
