I don't see how it could not be at least somewhat successful, it's AC in Japan. I'm so over these games but I've always said I wanted one in Japan. I'm not talking about pre orders particularly (which are dumb) just in general I understand why people would be excited for it.
Because it's a stupid, vocal minority who are complaining, most people don't care and just want an AC that's finally set in Japan.
Only now do I find out that the black samurai controversy is over an assasins creed game. So these capital "G" Gamers are concerned about historical accuracy in their game about the Knights Templar and some Cabal of assassins existing since the dawn of time?
Idiots for pre-ordering.
