Breadtube if it didn't suck.

Post videos you genuinely enjoy and want to share, duh. Celebrate the diversity of interests shared by chapochatters by posting a deep dive into Venetian kelp farming, I dunno. Also media criticism, bite-sized versions of left-wing theory, all the stuff you expected. But I am curious about that kelp farming thing now that you mentioned it.

Low effort / spam videos might be removed, especially weeb content.

There is a cytube that you can paste videos into and watch with whoever happens to be around. It's open submission unless there's something important to commandeer it with at the time.

A weekly watch party happens every Saturday (Sunday down under), with video nominations Saturday-Monday, voting Monday-Thursday. See the pin for whatever stage it's currently in.

There's a rather more popular sentiment in germany that jews that protest Israel or are pro-palestine are like the jews that supported the NSDAP or women that were against womens suffrage. Ties into the whole "We are now experts on antisemitism on account of having been the most antisemitic anyone's ever been for a while" thing.

I think you can see this best in Esther Bejarano, a widely revered political activist / jewish auschwitz survivor who had some rather more pointed criticisms towards the german state - right up until her death - and also Israel and that's just kind of ignored

EDIT: To hammer this point home, public broadcaster NDR cites her reasons for leaving Israel that her communist husband didn't agree politically and also the climate in Israel was too hot for her

Average youtube viewer could use the context, I'll have to hand them that one. Also, kinda funny in a dark way that if this particular 'Context' snippet started appearing in more irrelevant videos, it would be a bad move for YouTube to fix it.

Every video about Palestine has the Holocaust pop up. I haven’t figured the exact keyword yet though

Context:
Nakba

The Nakba was the forced expulsion and murder of Palestinians by Zionist terrorists in 1948

"You can't label filthy terrorists as resistance fighters! Also, this Independence day we're commemorating the brave men and women of Haganah, Irgun and Lehi."

Sign: "I think the State of Israel does some bad stuff sometimes"

Germany: "ANTISEMITISM!"
