There's a rather more popular sentiment in germany that jews that protest Israel or are pro-palestine are like the jews that supported the NSDAP or women that were against womens suffrage. Ties into the whole "We are now experts on antisemitism on account of having been the most antisemitic anyone's ever been for a while" thing.
I think you can see this best in Esther Bejarano, a widely revered political activist / jewish auschwitz survivor who had some rather more pointed criticisms towards the german state - right up until her death - and also Israel and that's just kind of ignored
