Australia has more than 3.5 million registered guns. In addition to that, it's estimated there are a quarter-of-a-million undeclared weapons on the "grey market"

They didn't ban guns, they just made it so you can't stockpile a fuck off massive hoard of guns to shoot up a tourist trap.

It's still not that hard to get guns in Australia. Just a bunch of paperwork.
