I'm feeling skittish and translucent.

One of the houses in my neighbourhood has put barbered wire around their property fences. Wtf. Is it a drug den? Do they have hostages I there? Creepy as fuck. I wonder if it’s even legal, I might check with the council. I’m in a pretty average suburb, nothing fancy but not low socioeconomic either.

So that, and the poor dog being stolen has got me thinking to get some security cameras. The choices are a bit overwhelming, and I’m not super tech savvy. Recommendations appreciated.

Hmm is it occupied? It might have been getting squatted or had copper thieves or something. Or you know a trap house.

A battery/solar/wifi camera is cheap and easy to install. $150, is okay but not great. An NVR with four cameras starts around $600 for the hardware, plus the install costs - someone licensed to run Ethernet cable. I've got a battery solar unit, I'm looking to upgrade to synology cameras but it's not an urgent expense.

If I wanted to suggest a change to a traffic light sequence, should I be contacting VicRoads or my local Council? (If it's VicRoads, is there a specific email/contact form I should use? Or do just try the generic contact email and hope for the best?)

I'm watching a show about hoarders. One of the irrational things they do is keep so many clothes that are ragged or don't or never fit them.

Boundaries people!! Everyone in the docos are far too nice and let the hoarders walk all over them. They let the hoarders ruin their home and ruin their neighbourhood, They make it really unhealthy and unsafe for everyone else.

Why you only calling us when you got your dramas? One of these days we'll repay you we'll slay you.

Holy mackerel, I swear driving inbound on the M1 from the outer west is going to be the death of me. Also if I see one more person indicate and then immediately merge or not indicate at all, I am going to scream. Indicating is a warning to those around you, and that means you need to give everyone sufficient time to heed your warning.
