FUN FACT: The Ontos ('Thing') was quite literally a cast-off from the US Army - the Ontos did not meet the Army's needs after being designed, and so was offered to the US Marine Corps at a cut-rate price. The Marines, used to getting the leavings of the budget, jumped on the opportunity, and discovered that they loved the little 'Thing'. It was meant as a lightweight anti-tank vehicle, but the Marines mostly used it to blow up buildings and deprive their opposition of cover.

Each of those tubes is a recoilless rifle. The poor sod on loading duty had to get out to load each one manually. I imagine they picked straws for that unfortunate duty.

Thank you for adding to my encyclopedia of useless information. I'm not trying to be an ass. I enjoyed the info very much but will never use it.

Sheesh, those are some heavy guns for such a little craft. I imagine they made the FNG load them.

It looks like an Ork tank from Warhammer.
