For all the rabbiting on about the unrivalled potential that AI offers developers, it's not really made a big splash in games yet, at least not in a way that's visible to players (in a GDC survey, after all, 31% of devs said they're already using AI in some capacity), so it's hard to say what the future is.

What that says to me is, AI is helping to reduce time spent on mundane functions but there’s no magic bullet for labor costs or player experience in it.

It might be possible that there’s tools out there devs are using that fall under the AI umbrella that devs are using but aren’t aware are AI because they’re not marketed as such.

Oh, to be fair, when I was on the BSN Forums, he defended some dumb decisions and was kinda rude about it too.
