These fuckers have been spreading like wildfire so now Parks Canada has invoked the nuclear option. This is a bit of a test case and I really hope it's successful and shows that zebra mussels can be stopped given appropriate and possibly even temporary restrictions. Of course to Canadians the natural world has no value beyond its use as their playground so a lot of people are gnashing their teeth online about this. Fuck em.
