Coke... It was the best coke spoon out there. People would bum rush the store and take all of them.

If you are interested you can still buy them online

Their Coke is delicious, but who uses a spoon!?

I would assume the frozen coke slushy thing, not just the soft drink. But then... They didn't have that when they had these spoons, did they? πŸ€”

That would make more sense. Now I want to try one of these "Coke spoons." They sound delightful, like something from the old timey soda jerk down on the corner.

It now dawns on me they might not have meant any kind of drink. They meant drugs. 🀣

I thought this whole comment chain was intentional...

@Kolanaki@yiffit.net is too innocent for this world πŸ™ˆπŸ€£

I'm concerned that it wasn't.

I just wanted to say good luck, and we’re all counting on you.

Oooooh. I was assuming it involved genitals. Drug use is the next best bet.

[–] Agent641@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I assumed it was used as a field-expedient sounding rod.

[–] RGB3x3@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

It would have cost you nothing not to write that comment.

And you less energy to just downvote if you don't agree. I had their same thought!

Their straws are perfect.

How were these discontinued if I specifically remember using them in the mid-eighties as catapults?

[–] Peppycito@sh.itjust.works 15 points 1 year ago

They stopped making them in the 70's but they made an obscene amount of them and had to keep using the stockpile for the next 20 years.

Coke is always better at McDonald's.

You bustard. Now I have Clapton in my algorithm. This will take ages to fix. Harumph.

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 5 points 1 year ago

French fry catapults.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Why would McDonald's care what people do with their stirrers after leaving McDonald's? "Oh no! People are having fun! Cancel production!"

Sounding spoon
