Song posts must follow the 'Artist - Title (Description)' format with 80 character or less descriptions. Hashtagged keywords & emojis in titles are not allowed.

This song connects to other soul/jazz songs released by African-American artists of the early โ70s such as Curtis Mayfield. This song, although it does not use very heavy lyrics, uses instruments to send its message. The Ghetto uses conga drums, electric piano, improvised vocals by Hathaway, and beats with Afro-Caribbean influence.
