Big fan of the first game played it many times but the second left little appeal as it was intended for online play and I had no friends or xbox live when it came out. The split screen mode was also practically unplayable as it left two tiny little boxes on the screen making it impossible to see.

Then I got the PC port on steam but its completely unplayable and if your device has too many CPU cores doesn't run at all, crashes when saving every time and generally just shit to run so gave up there.

Found myself with two xbox consoles and played with my brother on system link and its probably one of the most entertaining coop games I've ever played. Its just complete chaos with batshit cinematics all the way through.

Shame it's another lost crapcom franchise relying on xbox backwards compat to be played at all since the pc version is unusable. Weird cos the first game runs and looks great to this day and was fun to play on steam deck

LP2 is just crazy. You go from the kind of atmospheric shooter that was LP1 to this like tokusatsu co-op shooter that's off the rails.

I loved shooting at all the fucking massive ass monsters. I remember the worm/train level being cool as fuck
