While we discourage these practices (per Rule 5), all dogs deserve loving homes and compassionate care regardless of their background or physical alterations.

Good idea - we are trying the Milkbone “Flavor Snacks” which have similar flavors and similar ingredients, but he’s not a big fan of Milk Bone snacks in general but hopefully these are closer to what he likes. He’s gotten used to having 3 Liv-a-Snaps after we go for a walk in the morning since we’ve had him (he was a rescue, we adopted him about 2 1/2 years ago).
Liv-a-Snaps have gotten increasingly harder to find the last year or so and I had stocked up a while back, so this was the last of them.

oh yeah I hate it when specific products go away. years ago my dog got dehydrated ham treats & he absolutely loved those, but then the company went under or the product was cancelled. took forever to find another treat he liked.
Yes, it is funny how picky our pets can be these days - if my grandfather were still alive he would think we were all crazy for buying special snacks for our dogs - he’d just get a bone from the butcher and be done with it 😊
