Hi guys,
I have a Ubuntu Server VPS. I connect through it via SSH and SSH keys.
I usually have a set of nftables rules that sets up upon server reboot, allowing me to maintain the SSH connection to the server while having Mullvad connected.
Unfortunately, I don't know what happened but it seems that upon server reboot, the script with the nftables rules were not set successfully and I after entering the command mullvad connect, the SSH connection was lost and now, I can't connect the the VPS anymore. It seems that it is stuck behind the VPN. The connection is an openvpn one.
- Is there a way to recover connection to the VPS or not ?
- I tried to reboot the VPS via my hosting provider web interface and while the reboot is successful, it seems that the VPN connection is still on and impossible to connect to it via SSH.
- Is there's a way to terminate all Mullvad connections related to my account from my Mullvad account page ? I tried to look for this but couldn't find anything except my account number and the current devices with their Wireguard keys.
- Fortunately, i have a cron job that runs everyday at 05:00am with the command
mullvad disconnect so I should be able to regain access to the VPS at this time, but if I could get access before this time it would be great and also, for my knowledge, it would be great to get some insight about how to troubleshoot this issue.
