On my first road trip in the Cybertruck, it’s no longer charging! I paid $100K for this truck, and I can’t enjoy it. I’ve had it for over a month and only drove it for 2 weeks; the rest of the time, it’s been stuck in service. On top of that, the wall connector charger that came with the truck doesn’t work, and service doesn’t know when I’ll get one. So how am I supposed to charge my 2 Teslas simultaneously at home?

I have never come on here and trash-talked Tesla regarding my Cybertruck experience. I’ve always been positive, even in the midst of all the hate comments towards the truck and its issues. I would appreciate it if Tesla gave me the same level of respect.

There are dozens gathering dust in grass parking lots not too far from me haha

Damn, my kingdom for a spray bottle full of vinegar or a 2L bottle of coca cola to spray all over that untreated stainless steel.

Good idea, they’re pretty far from any buildings/cameras

still mask up as the cars themselves have cameras

Y'know I'm starting to really respect the engineers who designed/built these things. Like, when it launched I expected a week or two of 'haha, look how awful this thing is' content, but they have so over-delivered. And the gradual escalation and comic timing of it allchefs-kiss

At this point I'm expecting melon-musk to pull a Tommy Wiseau/The Room and claim that the whole thing is a joke (well, it is a joke, but that he planned for it to be that way).

It's going to get so much better as time goes on. I can't see most of these lasting a year and pissing off a group of consumers who can buy a $100k emotional support truck might finally burst Tesla's bubble, fucking the software and hardware support for all of their vehicles/charging stations. Meanwhile some of the worst people in society try to drive around in a $100k guillotine while children mock them. That's going to be its own series of Falling Down storylines as the most terminally insecure men go monkey over a truck they can't drive or store or return or resell.

Everything about it makes me pizza-dance elmofire

you-are-a-serf @M'LORDDDDDDDDDDDDDD, I've always been positive even in the midst of all the hate comments toward the wagon and its issues. But sire it hath no wheels and the horses are dead.

It also seems like the service technicians might have somehow also made it so the passenger airbag won't deploy in the truck with no crumple zones and an accelerator pedal that gets stuck.

edit: And his website for renting this cybertruck, which he calls the future of luxury transportation- https://lamarmk.square.site/

Tesla, the company that brings the software practice of releasing an incomplete and broken product to automotive manufacturing!

It's insane to me how people are still buying newly released Teslas. It's well known at this point that Tesla releases broken and incomplete vehicles and then fixes them later on like an early access video game.

They buy it because they're in love with Elon and for the social status because they're expensive, not because the car is good

[–] SerLava@hexbear.net 6 points 1 year ago

and for the social status

Hey far be it from me to kink shame a locker fetish

Every car company makes the occasional lemon… seems like you got one. Sucks! Hopefully they get you one that works and take back that one to analyze.

Willfully deluded

Or in on the grift?
