The HMCS Sackville is the last known example of the Flower Class Corvette used in WW2 by Britain and the allies. Usually as escorts for the North Atlantic crossing.

Never knew the origin of corvette, in fact I didn’t know it was a common noun!

I’m more of a car guy than a boat guy, but TIL, thanks for sharing!
