Man I was so hoping he might get to drive for Mercedes for one season until Antonelli is ready.

Yea, I didn't expect that Mercedes would sign Antonelli straight away with Sainz being at merc for a year, but now its more and more likely to be kimi.. Still, maybe botASS could make a return there until kimi is ready.
Yeah I think Bottas would probably be the best option. We already know it would be only a one, maybe two year contract so getting someone who already knows the team is the easiest route.
Scratch that actually

With longevity a key factor in Bottasโ contract negotiations, he said heโd be open to having a chat with Mercedes if a longer-team deal was on the table.
โOnly if it was a lot more than a one-year contract,โ he said, when asked outright if a return to Mercedes was something heโd be interested in.
โIf it was a one-year deal, then it wouldnโt make sense for me. But, for long-term, of course there could be a discussion.โ
Sainz and Hulkenberg are a great combo.
If they have anything close to a race-winning car I'm gonna be so erect.
Their WEC cars were pretty awesome. Owned the series for years in different configurations
Didn't see that one coming.
Sort of cooled my view on Audi, not going to lie.
