the point of it isn't "oh wow this isn't ridiculous" they're just having a nice time. this came from a fan of the show

I don't think this weird nerd is actually complaining. I think they're basically saying "humans can't kick out behind themselves, horses can, these human-shaped horse girls can too, isn't that weird/neat?"

This is normally achievable in ballet, but I'm sure there's an extensive discussion somewhere about the political economy of ballet in a world with horse girls
(Of course horses don't kick at an 80 degree angle either but I don't think that's the point)

I was so confused by why leg angle was something this person had chosen to focus on, and then I read it was about horse girls and somehow it made sense.
Her leg is turned outward too, a side kick like this is pretty easily achievable in karate or whatever.
