"Fuckin' A." is the only correct response.

I recommend looking up The Deathworlders for a similar feeling. Or better yet, the origin story for that from the Humanity Fuck Yeah community. I forget the exact name, but something Jenkins.

Jenkinsverse

I personally prefered "Prey" and "first contact" that is now longer than the Harry Potter and LOTR series combined.

Ohh, sweet. I'll look those up. Thank you!

It's the only way to be sure

In reality, it's our best guess that a rock accidentally floated by the earth and did the damage as a random act of nature. How could we know if an alien race hurled that rock at Earth on purpose? Or even used a weapon to do it - could we tell something like that just from our geological record/proofs? I imagine we'd still conclude an accidental rock.

For this to happen, we have to assume so much. Like we are not alone in this universe and that being is aggressive. Also have the ability to move large matter.

OR.... we can just assume with things we do know that happens to other planets. That meteor happens to many planets including outs.

I think I'm picking up what you're putting down. You're saying that the universe itself knew that dinosaurs were too OP and needed to be stopped before the situation got out of hand.

Bro, that's... Exactly what I mean, but also, Aliens.

[–] AusatKeyboardPremi@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

That’s a really nice thinking exercise.

Makes me wonder why the aliens didn’t come back to the planet after nuking it. Or have they already arrived?

If they haven’t, why nuke a planet that one doesn’t plan to use?

[–] Cringe2793@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Maybe we're the aliens who came back after nuking the planet.
