Piracy is good and you should do more of it. Use https://aniwave.to/ and https://4anime.gg/ for streaming, and https://nyaa.si/ for torrents. Piracy is the only means of digital protest that audiences have to fight poor worker treatment.
huh, really? how so?
It's kind of a mess of a show, so anything feels like a stretch, but I think some of the "nation in pursuit of true passivism" bit is tangentially in conversation with Article 9.
NGL I mostly wanted to post a picture of Relina's RBF lol
Stein's Gate? Maybe, if we're being broad. Unless that's what you meant by gate.
Gate is the "JSDF gets isekaied" show if I remember right
yep! used as actual recruitment propaganda for the jsdf
Ah. Haven't seen that one.
haven't seen stein's gate, what makes you say that?
Really reaching and my memory of the series isn't great lol, but in Stein's:Gate 0 the US and Russia have operatives in Japan fighting for control of a time machine. There's a timeline where WW3 breaks out and Japan is one of the hardest hit places. Can't help but feel like it might be a bit of a commentary on how Japan is just a place where superpowers are able to impose their will. Even season one's main antagonist organization was a foreign entity (SERN, a play on real life CERN).
Drifters, or at least the manga is.
at least double digit percentage of all anime
oh undoubtedly! but i can't actually think of THAT many specifics that wouldn't be really massive stretches, so any you can think of would be appreciated
first that comes to mind is Zipang, that's really blatant
dang yeah. is that any good? the summary i read feels like it could potentially be interesting but i don't trust like that
it's uh extremely problematic, literally imperial japan apologia, but if you like alt-history stuff it's interesting.
Code Geass?
It's politics are kind of a mess though.
