Slow ass day at work today so I decided to try and figure out every country that has had at least one fighter represent them in the Octagon.
I’m actually surprised at how many countries there were! Of the 195 countries recognized by the UN, 105 have had a fighter from there or of that descent fight in the UFC. I also included territories/disputed countries as well because I’m a big ass geography nerd. That brings the total number up to about 113 represented places in the Octagon.
I just thought it was super interesting to see how global the sport we all love is and felt like sharing it since I don’t fuckin know what else I’ll do with it lol
