The other day I learned there is an alcoholic mix drink brand that tastes like lemonade but has 10% alcohol, called 196
What the fuck are ice cube bags? Is it just water that you can then fill into the form?
Exactly, it's because we don't have an ice maker, and regular ice containers make ice that tastes like ass. I think we got them a long time ago at Dollarama.
Ohhh, so you use the bag as well. I assume you crunch it afterwards?
And what kind of ice containers do y'all have that inflict a taste on the cubes? That kind of plastic doesn't sound healthy...
I haven't used them in a while, but I think you basically just open them up and break the ice pouches apart.
The taste comes from the freezer itself, not the container. I should probably look for a sealed, reusable ice cube mold.
Last ice bags I saw have cube shapes with little gaps between them to allow the water to fill the bag. So when you rip the bag open they're already more or less seperated.
As for the taste stuff, not so much the ice container, but if it's not fully sealed it can take on the smell and taste of other things in the freezer.
