Neo-liberalism's a hell of a drug, and governments everywhere are deep in the throws of addiction.
Not gonna happen with Doug Ford and many other premiers (Eby in BC is trying).
Ford's busy being funded by developers (under the names of groups like "Ontario Strong") to sell off the Greenbelt to build McMansions, banning fourplexes, build Amazon warehouses on protected marshlands, build a highway near his donor families' land holdings, on and on.
How do we protect something we don't already have?
