Usually you can stop, drop and roll. But the fire damage is so strong right now that it's almost an instant kill.

New arc thrower chainstuns them to death

It also can arc directly into the visor and 1-2 shot them but it's a bit of a crapshoot since it auto aims. I've had some luck with it when aiming slightly up (obviously the hulk has to be facing you)
