Chat is a text only community for casual conversation, please keep shitposting to the absolute minimum. This is intended to be a separate space from c/chapotraphouse or the daily megathread. Chat does this by being a long-form community where topics will remain from day to day unlike the megathread, and it is distinct from c/chapotraphouse in that we ask you to engage in this community in a genuine way. Please keep shitposting, bits, and irony to a minimum.

As with all communities posts need to abide by the code of conduct, additionally moderators will remove any posts or comments deemed to be inappropriate.

Thank you and happy chatting!

The pants were the only pair that fit and they were out of the shorts in my size so they had to be mail-ordered and it cost $125 for these two articles of clothing

Love not being able to find anything that fits me anywhere, really feels like my body type is acceptable and that I'm a real human being who deserves dignity and clothes that fit and chairs I can sit in comfortably

I wish showerheads were high enough to wash my hair without doubling over

They're pants if you're short and shorts if you're tall, that's the entire idea of the concept.

You're saying a talking cucumber lied to me?

I don't have the same build as you but I have similar issues: my torso is fairly short but my arms are pretty long, so most long-sleeve shirts are like quarter sleeves on me, and yet loose through the torso. The more I look at "regular" cuts and talk to people though, the more I'm convinced that clothes here in the west are fit for body types that mostly do not exist.
