I've only read it up to a certain point because I got too busy, but I think the most fucked up part that I could remember was the SA of a minor and another kid plotting to kill a woman's husband for money. Prior to that, it had stuff about familial dysfunction and abuse, the fleeting feelings of childhood relationships, loneliness, child neglect, puberty, etc.
