Nathan Neudorf, minister of affordability and utilities, says the move is in response to rural concerns about development on agricultural land, the effect on scenery, reclamation security and system reliability.

But of course coal mining at the headwaters of the Old Man river or being totally unprepared for continuously worsening wildfires wouldn't be troubling in this regard.

It's not that these aren't legitimate concerns,.generally speaking, but he doesn't actually give a shit and is just using them as scapegoats.
