Yup, for 192 kb/s mp3s i think. Premiums can do 320 but for podcasts you don’t need a bit rate that high
Audials has a function to record Spotify media in 5x speed afaik. Maybe that'll suit your needs. It doesn't directly download it, it just captures the Audio and saves it.
This will not work for this specific podcast (due to it being on spotify), but for other podcasts I've really enjoyed Podgrab, a self hosted podcast downloader and playback tool.
Btw. It worked with Zotify. Created a burner account and grabbed the podcast I wanted..
I will have your option in mind for other platforms.
