Watched "puss in boots: last wish" animation was fenomenal and the use of depth buffer was innovative.

2024 discussion threads
Enemy Mine (1985) and Scavengers Reign (2023) are my most recent watches.
I also watched Legend (Director's Cut)(1985) but I haven't finished writing my review of that yet. π
Nice blog, thanks for sharing! The world needs more blogs!
Any recommendations for other animated shows that are more adult themed?
I've watched Oppenheimer 3 times so far. I'm about halfway through.
- Rewatched Bourne Identity
- Oppenheimer (first watch)
- John Wick (fun but not my favorite)
And the gem of the bunch was King of New York. Went into this one not knowing anything about it and loved every second of it. Weird and almost art-housey but it was a great ride.
- Lift - Netflix - total garbage. Like a really bad "oceans 11"
- Ricky Stanicky - Amazon - Dumb humor, but I enjoyed it. John Cena has great comedic timing - that's probably most of it.
- Shogun - Hulu - Pretty entertaining. It's 50% culture clash between Japan and a "Barbarian" from London, and 50% warring Japanese clans.
- Bill Burr - Paper Tiger - Netflex standup. The feminism jokes at the beginning already feel dated, but if you stick it out, the latter half is pretty great.
- Halo - Paramount+ - Season 1 was fun, but pretty slow. Season 2 picks up and starts to have a compelling story. I never played the game btw.
- Curb your Enthusiasm - HBO (I'm not calling it Max - no one knows what that is). For me, this continues to be some of the best comedy I've ever watched.
- Roadhouse (2024) - Amazon - A fun watch. It's more a sequel than a remake of the original. The "rich bad guy" was the weakest point.
