This is pretty standard stuff for conservative governments. The Harper government ran tons of ads that just puffed up things they had done or worse, planned to do.

Conservatives - we need funding for advertising and we don't want to pay taxes.... Great let's cut funding to schools and hospitals, that will balance the budget! Ooooohhhh... Look, scientists.... Who the fuck needs those?!? GONE! Oh yeah, surpluse time!

Civvie - Ya know that's just for the year right.....

Conservatives - Look at this glorious ad! See were doing great!

Liberal - why doesn't anybody like me? ~starts crying~

Talk about low-effort. What is the "it" from 'Getting IT done' and "It's Happening Here"?

In my mind, 'it' is emergency room closures, the losing of lawsuit after lawsuit, doing nothing about the housing crisis, the non-existent 'buck a beer' promise, crippling healthcare infrastructure...

They couldn't afford the leading SH and just stuck with IT instead.

It's time to start hanging these jackasses who authorised this by the testicles. Advertising during the most expensive events? Do you also realize no one watches the Canadian channels because all the good commercials are .... Ugh.... American
