Stalin was too kind. The kind Lenin would have shot them all. The fair Stalin should have pitted them all

Yeah, there's also the policy of appeasement that basically undermined the chances of the Spanish Republic winning the Civil War (at least imo.)

I understand why Stalin took the route of appeasement specifically with regards to Britain and at least to some extent "socialist" France (I spit on the name of Léon Blum and if anyone dares to claim that the communists sabotaged the Spanish Civil War or that Stalin didn't live up to his own principles by providing support for the Spanish Republic—which is laughable btw—but they have zero words to say about Leon Blum's betrayal of the revolution then they have absolutely no business talking about the Spanish Civil War imo) but appeasing the British was a bad idea.

It was a compromise and an understandable one at that, and as a prelude to WWII, I think that Stalin learned some hard lessons through attempting a policy of appeasement of the Brits as well as SocDem reformist "socialists" that exist in Europe and that this influenced his decision-making in the immediate lead up to WWII and when it kicked off.

Once I get to elaborating on this I'll reply in a comment below this one.
