If the movie was Grandchildren ~~Son~~ of Spinal Tap it would probably also suck. But it might work because Hollywood isn't trying to recreate lightning in bottle the say way 40 fucking years later. I decided that even "Sons of" was lame.

Serious talk though, it was funny as fuck in the original when the band is getting overlooked in favor of equally no name "stars", even if they do a gag where they share a plane with McCartney or whatever, getting upstaged by Paul McCartney still makes you look comparable to fucking Paul McCartney and Elton John, god forbid if they have either actually talking on screen about Spinal Tap.
