For those who didn't already know (possible mild spoilers):

spoiler

  1. In Act I, when you get the quest to bring back a noblestalk to the alchemy vendor in the Myconid Colony, give it to Shadowheart instead to reveal one of her lost memories.
  2. In Act III, when you get to the Closter of Sombre Embrace, you meet Nocturne, the NPC from Shadowheart's memory from Act I. This is the character that Abigail voiced.

noblestalk~~iirc if you end up giving it to Derryth (NOT BAELEN!) in act 1 you can still trigger the memory in act 3 as she'll have 3 noblestalks for sale at her shop.~~

this info might not be correct

spoiler~~Oh, did they finally patch that? I thought Shadowheart didn't get the dialogue option after Act I.~~

Confirmed: As of Patch 6, the Noblestalk items that you can purchase in Act III do not trigger the "restore one of Shadowheart's memories" dialog. You can still meet Nocturne without her turning hostile (if Shart is Selunite) though.

For anyone stumbling across this thread from search results: Yep, confirmed a couple of weeks ago on Patch 6 that you have to use the item found in the Underdark; see edits above.
