While its true that wildfires can be caused by irresponsible people, I find it hypocritic to tell people think that way. Many fires I think are caused on purpose and the goverments ~surely contribute to that when they defund our means of countering fires (some governments may even cause the fires directly)..

Suppression of fire in North America has been a huge mistake. Results include bigger fires, habitat loss to succession, and vilifying of indigenous land management techniques.
