Yes, there were slight changes in the design, but the motifs (gateways, windows, bridges in various architectual styles) remained pretty much unchanged.
This time it's a complete redesign with (a) different theme(s).

Between 2013 and 2019 the "new" series came out. I think a new series every 12 years is reasonable
True, it just feels like yesterday as I’m still seeing the old design sometimes
I srill have a 200€ note and 2 or 3 100€ notes at home
I liked the old 20s.

Look like the decision was first announced in December 2021. Is that what you’re thinking about?
No, it was a smaller redesign they did from 2013 to 2019, in batches, so that’s why it seems so recent
Oh, you’re right. That is recent.
I don't even remember when was the last time I used banknotes. Not since COVID. I probably wouldn't be able to recognize the banknotes anyway so go right ahead, I guess.

Can we opt for colourful designed digital euros as well? Would make my bank statements less dull..
