This is solely a pet "theory". As in, nothing backed up by literature.

What if 600kya we had the shift from paralinguistic communication to true language, and that allowed better transmission of culture?

(For references our earliest reconstructions are for Proto-Afro-Asiatic, around 14kya. As in, almost yesterday.)
