To answer question 1, it looks like you should be good. I see you're using PCPartPicker for your build configurator. If you didn't get any warnings there, you're good to go. Looking over your list myself, I came to the same conclusion.
For question 2, instead of more fans, you should be looking at creating positive pressure, which has more intake than exhaust. If you orient the fans you currently have for more intake, then you should be good. Barring being in a hot ambient environment, creating good airflow in the PC case is a better idea than more fans, so having good cable management is the key.
