My highly intelligent cat woke up from his nap, walked past his (full) food bowl and came to tell me urgently that he was HUNGRY and he needed to be FED or he would WASTE AWAY AND STARVE.

He would last maybe 10 minutes in the wild.

Oh, but look at that gorgeous mane and regal expression. Sir Tom clearly needs FRESH food that he can SEE YOU SERVE because anything else could be a poisoning attempt on the king

He needs an attendant to watch him eat. Perhaps he might choke? Who am I to question it, His Fluffiness is clearly in charge.

Oh Tommy. Does no one love you? You look absolutely mistreated and neglected. If you didn't see the food go in your bowl then it obviously didn't happen, poor boy.
